Nokkon is very proud to welcome Chris Melton as the latest edition to our passionate Ambassador team. We are looking forward to helping resource Chris on his health and wellbeing journey, as he continues to positively influence and help improve the quality of life of those around him. Chris was nominated by a fellow Ambassador because of his commitment to regularly encouraging others and supporting them through the painful difficult stages of initial fitness progression. Chris has incorporated helping others as part of his training program and we look forward to seeing this grow with the nokkon effect as those go on to encourage others.
What activities/interested in the health and wellbeing sector do you have?
Chris: I love to run. With my mates, with my family, by myself. It’s therapeutic, social and euphoric at times. I also try and stay strong in the gym on off days.
What got you interested in health/wellbeing?
Chris: I’ve always been active but my mate (and fellow Nokkon Ambassador) inspired me to start running about 17 months ago and I’ve not looked back. Best thing I’ve ever done.
What benefits have you found in your active lifestyle?
Chris: Benefits include: increased aerobic capacity, immunity boost, self discipline, weight loss, confidence, self satisfaction, balanced outlook, improved productivity at work.
Who are your inspirations?
Chris: my mates and family.
How do you ensure you positively influence others?
Chris: Positively reinforce genuine efforts to be active. Everyone exercises at different levels. Pb’s are pb’s. Even the smallest changes in lifestyle are significant and deserve to be recognized publicly.
